Free Business Advice

Lets take a look at what free business advice really is.There are many places to turn to for free business advice in the UK who offer information on starting your own business and although there initially free, they will come back later and start charging you for there services, this is all well and good but in reality, it defeats the purpose of a free service.

Not be expensive in the UK, after all you can start a limited company from as little as £50 and that includes all the companies house paperwork. The following information is based on my own research I conducted recently.

Accountants:

So some say a good accountant is hard to find, and to be honest there not wrong. From personal experience I have had 2 accountants and neither one of them has saved me any money, they suggest they provide free business advice but I found they did not and it cost me a lot in the process.

Free Business advice

Well, I believe anyone in fact can be a business advisor, what does this really mean. Again, some business advisers offer the standard spiel and so on, but do they deliver, I have not found one who has to be frank unless they can sell you a service, or charge you for information on business grants etc.

Banks:

Ah, yes, the banks. I sing the praises of some banks for there good service but to be fair, not one of them have ever given me free business advise.. not one. Sure they have suggested (on the odd occasion) to do this and that, but none of there advice has contributed to the success of my business.
